One year later...

Ok, so 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day ago, my world changed forever. I gave birth to the most amazing, beautiful little girl! At the age of 37, I was finding out the true meaning to "the miracle of birth". I was finally understanding what everyone was talking about when they say, "having a baby will change your whole world".  I had read lots of books, babysat over the years, helped raise my younger brother, lived in a house where my mother was always taking care of someone elses baby, and later "borrowing" my nieces and nephews for the day. So when the day came for me to have my own little bundle of joy, I felt as if I was ready. Well, let me just say, no one is ever really ready. You can tell yourself over and over again that it will be easy, and there's nothing your not prepared for... but boy O boy, it ain't easy!! Rewarding?? definitely!! Challenging?? of course! Stressful?? Absolutely! a true test of your patience too! But, let me tell you.. I would not trade it for anything in this world! I love being a mom with a passion! Her giggle will melt away all of my bad days in a matter of minutes.
